AL은 다른 거 알지?

"옛날에는"이란 간단한 표현을 Level 1~5까지 이야기하는 방법을 알아보자.

 

level 1 : in the past

level 2 : when I was young, when I was little, when I was just a kid

level 3 : Back in the day

level 4 : Back when I was in my middle school days..

level 5 : Many many moon ago

 

위 level4의 표현할 때 한국 학생들이 when I was in my middle school student라고 말을 많이 하는데,

문법은 완벽하지만 student라는 말은 조금 이상하다.

위 5개 표현중에서 2개씩 뽑아서 연습하면 좋다.

When I was just a kid,

Back when I was in my middle school days....

이런 식으로 두 개씩 썩어서 사용할 수 있다.

단, level5와 level 2와 같이 역순으로 썩는 것은 좋지 않다.

When I get hungry around dinner time...

살찔까 봐

So that I don't gain weight.

 

Do you also like 김밥?

I don't really see you eat 김밥 though.

먹지. 근데 우리 집 근처에 김밥집이 없어서..

It's simply cos we don't have a 김밥집  nearby.

you cannot have any more 김 in your life, what would you do?
