질문 난이도는 4 이상으로 높게 잡아라

▶질문의 난이도를 선택할 때 낮게 잡지마라.

 

난이도를 낮게 잡으면 어려운 질문(Advanced Question)을 적게 받게 된다. 그러면 적게 받은 어려운 질문을 전부 잘 대답해야 좋은 점수를 받을 수 있다. 어떤 질문이 나올지 모르는 상황에서 나온 질문을 전부 잘 대답하는 것은 힘들다.

그래서 난이도를 적어도 4이상으로 잡아서 어려운 질문을 많이 받아야 한다. 그중에 몇개만 잘 대답하면 높은 점수를 받을 가능성이 더 커진다.

어려운 질문을 잘 대답하는 방법을 연습해야 한다. 특히 Rule #5를 이용해서 질문을 컨트롤 하면 어려운 질문을 나에 맞게 쉽게 정리해서 대답해야 한다.

 

질문이 길고 어려울 경우 그 질문에 대해서 전부 대답하기란 네이티브라도 힘들다. 질문이 너무 길면 무슨 질문을 했는지도 잊어 버린다. 그리고 대답한 시간도 짧기 때문에 모든 질문에 대해서 대답한다고 평가자가 기대하지도 않는다.

 

 

▶오픽질문의 형태에 따라 대답하는 연습을 해야한다.

 

모든 오팩 질문은 아래 4가지 카테고리로 나누이진다. 각 가테고리 별로 대답하는 Strategy를 공부해야 한다.

질문을 듣고 어떤 카테고리인지 판단하는 연습도 하는 것이 좋다.

▶Rule # 6  If you get nervous and have nothing to say, go right to the conclusion!

  긴장이 되고 할말이 없을 때, 바로 결론으로 가기!

 

대답을 하다보면 다음에 무슨말을 해야 할지 더 이상 생각이 안날 때가 있다. 그럴때는 길게 끌지 말고 바로 결론으로 가야 한다. 이야기를 계속 이어가다기는 포인터를 잃고 행설수설하게 된다.

Um, I'm a student so I spend time at library on weekdays, yeah. You know, I didn't have much time on weekdays. But instead, I usually spend time at home on weekend, yeah. I love this time because I can do everyting what I want,yeah. gks But you know what? I love watch movies. So, I usually watch movies at home. It makes me flexed, yeah.   Quite good um. The another thing is... Um, you know, the another thing is listen to music, catch some z's, and so on, yeah. Thease things are makes me full of energy.

You know, I don't have much time on weekdays. Because you know I am always working and so I am barely home. (I am rarely home. I am like never home. I only come home to sleep)   But instead, I usually spend time at home on weekends. I love weekends because I get to finally do thing at home. I can do whatever I feel like. I really leve having my own time. It's the best.   And you konw what? I love watching movies. So, I usually watch movies at home. And so, that is what I usually do at home on weekends. It helps me to relax. (It makes me feel so good to watch movies all day.)   I naver did this before, but nowadays, I just love doing this. I just don't know why! (I just can't explain it)
