| I have the perfect story to tell you. Mmm, I once borrowed my boyfriend's laptop and I was waiting for hime at Twosome place. (Main Point가 약하다) You know, all of a sudden, I felt like going to the washroom. So, I left leaving the laptop on the table. Then my boyfriend came to the coffee shop and he was shocked to see the laptop alone. And what you have to realize is that he was being very paranoid about his laptop. And you know, when I came back, he was like " Hey, are you crazy? What are you thinking?!" And this made my blood boil to the max! And I couldn't believe how obnoxious he was being. And uh, what am I tring to say. Uh, we ended up fighting and eventually, he apologized for being stupid. And so, we were able to make up in the end. |

AL Tip1 : 시작할 때 필러를 사용해서 생각하고 있는 모습을 보여라
레이첼의 시작은 너무 좋은데 생각하는 모습없이 바로 시작해버렸다.
이는 Script를 작성하여 외운 것 처럼 보인다. 정말 완벽하게 준비한 질문이라 하더라도 조금은 생각하는 모습을 보여야 한다.
You have to really show that you're thinking right from the beginning of the question.
If you have already prepared for a question you still have to show that you're thinking about it.
Humm alright, I think I have the perfect story.

AL Tip2 : Main Point에 승부를 걸어라
영어 실력이 있는 사람은 Main Point 무시하고 말해도 된다. 사람들 마다 말하는 스타일이 틀리기 때문이다.
근데 패턴없이 프리하게 말할 경우는 Grammar과 Flow가 완벽하지 않으면,
You have a very high chance of getting a low mark.
말하는 패턴을 따라하면 OPIC Grader도 듣기 편하고 말하는 사람도 쉽게 말할 수 있다.
Main Point를 만드는 것은 어렵지만 만드는 연습이 필요하다. Main Point가 없으면 Free Style로 계속 이야기해야 해서 말하기 힘들어진다.
Main Point가 있으면 말을 다음으로 잊기 더 쉬워진다.
Please keep that in mind.
AL Tip3 : 문장을 짧게 가능하면 길게 말하자
아래와 같이 작은생각들을 꼬리에 꼬리를 물고 표현해라.
I recycle because I have to.
I mean, it's pretty easy and so I don't really complain about it.
I just do it because, well, I know that it's my responsibility.
나는 리사이클을 한다. 나는 해야 되니까 리사이클을 한다. 그리고 불평을 하지 않는다. 그것을 나의 의무이다.
위와 같이 리사이클에 대한 이야기를 이어서 이어서 길게하는 연습을 해보자
AL Tip4 : 처음쓰는 단어를 사용했을 때는 뒤에 설명을 붙여보자
He was being very paranoid. You know, he was being so crazy about this laptop. 이렇게 설명해주면 점수를 올리 수 있다.
AL Tip5 : 감정단어는 길게 감정을 실어서 말하자
좋다. 나쁘다. 화난다 등의 단어는 단어에 감정을 넣어서 표현하자. 대화하는 것 처럼.
AL Tip6 : 필러나 관용어구는 자연스럽게 말하는 방법을 따르자
예를 들어, What am I trying to say.를 말할때는 한번에 리듬있게 이어서 전부 말해야 한다. What am ~ I trying to say.로 띄워서 말하면 어색하다.
